The Journey was a game made to give people a chance to go on life changing journeys, adventures of self-discovery, a chance to find themselves. The game would give them the power of self actualisation.But as with most tales a tragedy strikes.
A virus manages to slip its way inside The Journey, who gives it the same powers as a player. The virus kills the in-game holder of the game's controls and takes them for herself.The Journey North is a twisted mockery of what it once was. Queen Nortena now holds the reins of the unfinished game and seeks not to help her players, but keep them trapped, to use them to complete it.Unfortunate souls who stumble upon the game are not able to leave, instead getting stuck or molded to fit an unfilled role. They become just another part of the game.But... something has changed.
